OUR VILLAGE STAFF
Joey Taylor is the Director of Bespoken Live, a storytelling, story-listening, and mindfulness program designed to create space for people to find their voice together. With experience in interfaith engagement and community development in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Cincinnati, his commitment to developing community through story began when he was encouraged to develop youth programming in the face of political and religious polarization and social isolation. He lives in Cincinnati with his partner Brooklin, son Lee and daughter Scottie.
Claire Seid (they/them) is a community organizer and educator. Graduating with a degree in Educational Sociology, they served a Fulbright teaching English in the Czech Republic at a forestry school. Since, they’ve been a traumatic brain injury researcher, prison abolitionist, forest preschool teacher, bike mechanic, communal garden organizer, orchard steward, spoon carver, and songleader. Claire is looking forward to engaging the students at Our Village in deep experiential nature education, imaginative forest play, traditional handcrafts, and gardening!
Cindy Loon is an artist and seeker of all things spiritual – studying Judaism, Kabbalah, and the intentional practice of Mussar. Most of all, she seeks community. She was introduced to HealthRHYTHMS® empowerment drumming and immediately discovered meaningful friendships, stress relief, and increased self-esteem; she then realized that she needed to share this joyful activity with her community. As a trained HealthRHYTHMS® facilitator, Cindy brings a sense of interconnectedness into our lives with a focus of personal well-being and joy.
